Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations
  • Perform specialized diagnostic procedures, such as nerve blocks and joint injections
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Prescribe and manage appropriate medications for pain management
  • Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
  • Provide patient education and counseling on pain management techniques and lifestyle modifications
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

To be eligible for this Nurse Practitioner (NP) position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of South Bend
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Specialization in Pain Management or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
