Are you a compassionate and dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) looking for a full-time position in Lafayette? Look no further! At Pain Management Care, PC, we are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team and assist in providing comprehensive medical care to our patients.

Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Medical Assistant (MA) at Pain Management Care, PC, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare professionals and ensuring efficient patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
  • Taking and recording vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information
  • Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring proper sanitation and cleanliness
  • Assisting physicians during examinations and medical procedures
  • Providing patients with instructions for medication and treatment
  • Administering injections and other prescribed medications as directed
  • Performing basic laboratory tests and specimen collection
  • Ensuring compliance with medical policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a healthcare setting
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and environments
  • Current CPR certification
